Colorado Regional High School Science Bowl Competition

Dear Colorado SHPE Members,

The National Renewable Energy lab would be hosting their 20th Annual Regional High School Science Bowl Competition and is looking for volunteers. The event is an academic competition that tests students' knowledge in all areas of science. High school students are quizzed in a fast paced question-and-answer format similar to Jeopardy. They have many positions available. They are mainly looking for individual with a science background to be moderator during the competitions.

Winners of the High School Science Bowl
The top team from each regional competition is awarded an all-expense paid trip to Washington,
D.C., to compete with up to 70 teams in the National High School Science Bowl. The
National High School Science Bowl competition will be held April 29th—May 4th, 2010.
