The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Colorado Chapter

The 3^rd high school conference will build collaboration between the University of Colorado Denver and the high schools in the community. High school students will be able to interact with the University professors and fellow engineering students. There will be lectures held by the University engineering professors or professionals. The High school students will also have a chance to participate in hands-on workshops with different engineering departments. Last year’s conference included workshops in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, and computer science. Each workshop focuses on the different aspects of each engineering program. Students will be able to network with each other as well as current engineering students at the University during the luncheon.
